To everyone who took the time to comment and/or email to give me words of encouragement. It means a lot to me. To us.

And you are right. Mostly without an extended family we can buckle sometimes.

But ah, a few bright spring-like days and some genuinely happy people around me has settled my confused and bewildered little mind.

I'm doing an AtoZ series of me over on Sew Q and this is the image I used for "H" (homeschooling!) and looking at it I realised just how passionately I feel about having my children around me. Maybe not so much in my face but definitely around me, schooled out of the system, nurtured and pruned rather than suffocated and squelched.

Yes. I am a messy haired homeschooling mother of two boys. And I'm happy with that.
