Life on a PYO farm

A bit early in the season but needed to walk in fresh air and be connected to the earth, since allotment idea won't take off til next year at least.

Fortunate enough to see Red Kites! I know, how's that - we go looking for them in the forest and never see one, and now we don't look they are virtually landing on our shoulders! Allah gives.
Amused to see the crows fighting them mid-air.

Picked strawberries, ate strawberries, children played in playground, I imbibed caffeine and bought home made jam, marmalade and local honey. Local honey is always best, especially for hayfever.
It's as close to homegrown as the kids are going to get this year...

How perfect You are O Allah, and I praise You.
I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except You.
I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.’
